So, I’m sure you’re wondering what the “something new” is. I’ll tell you! It’s a shawl in a shape I’ve never knitted before, and it’s a new design. I’m very much enjoying this new adventure — and the yarn I’m using, which is the Biography DK by Fable Fibers that I traded my June YarnBox for. It’s knitting up beautifully!
One of the most exciting things about this design is that I’m using it to get familiar with the shawl shaping so that I can apply it to another very exciting project I’ll be able to write about in August. Which is, coincidentally, only ten minutes away. But it won’t be until toward the end of August that I can talk about this project. Just know that it’s going to be fun.
I’m off to bed now. Good-bye, July! :)
You keep me curious :). Hello, August! I am still waiting for my July box… your watermelon said that it wants to be a lacy lacy shawl ;-). Isn’t it amazing how some yarns are perfect matches for some designs?
I like keeping people curious. It’s so much fun! I’ll get a photo posted today for sure. It’s such a fun project! I’m so glad you enjoy these posts! :D
Oooh, I can’t wait to see what shawl you knit with it. I haven’t seen the Watermelon colorway knit up!
By the way, I love your wip wednesdays!
