Y’all wanted to see where I spend most of my knitting/designing time, so here’s a quick snapshot of my knitting spot. My wingback is situated where I can see out the bay windows, which is where the table is tucked. I got the table at Hobby Lobby and picked out a fun knob to replace the plain one that came with it. In the drawer is where I keep my needle folio, my knitting kit, and pattern print-outs for the projects I’m making. You can see my yarn bowl on top — the one I got from AbbyT Pottery on Etsy — with my mom’s Juneberry Triangle nestled inside. Down on the floor, leaning against my storage cubes, is my Hexipuff Journal. And then, of course, underneath the table is my hexipuff basket.
I think this is my favorite spot in the whole house. The big windows are wonderful in the cooler months, bringing lots of sunshine and cool breezes. And in the summer, the crepe myrtle just outside the window offers shade and color along with a place for my favorite birds to visit me. All of these little things work together and give me a place with lots of scope for the imagination. :)
