Printable: Hexipuff Journal

April 29, 2013

Well, here it is! The promised “Hexipuff Journal” printable inspired by the Beekeeper’s Quilt by tiny owl knits! Take a look and tell me what you think — I’d love feedback. :)

What to do: click HERE to open the PDF, and then from there you can save it to your computer or tablet. Use page 1 of the PDF to slip into the front of a three-ring binder, and then print page 2 as many times as you need to as you work your hexipuffs. I would recommend using a 2-sided print option to save paper if your printer has that option.

On the journal page I’ve included blanks for the date you made the hexipuff, the place you knit it, the needles & yarn you used, and any notes. The empty space under those blanks can be used for drawings or charts for colorwork. The big honeycomb in the top right corner is for you to number the printed page so you can keep those in order as well. And then anything else you need to write down can be put in the additional notes box.

Enjoy!

I love this idea! I am using left overs from past projects. Over time it will be a wonderful way to remember the projects, people and events connected to each puff!
