I’m enjoying the opportunity to knit a sample of my Staghorn Hat & Gloves in Tosh’s Pashmina base, colorway Tart, for a local yarn shop. It’s my first time knitting with Tart, and I always wanted to since I love deep red so much — it’s knitting up sooooo pretty. It reminds me of the colorway of my Mecha cardi, just a little deeper. I gotta say though, this skein of Pashmina isn’t as soft as they usually are. Maybe it’s just me, but I’m not feeling the luxuriousness of the cashmere and silk in the yarn like I did when I made a beret out of Pashmina a couple years ago.. I hope it softens up as I knit it. We’ll see how it turns out!
