While I was at the shop where I picked up my first-ever skein of Shibui Knits yarn, I basked in the beauty of their Malabrigo wall. Actually, more than one. It was lovely! And for my birthday, which was at the end of March, I got to pick out two skeins from my mom.

Just like last year, I chose a skein of Malabrigo Sock as one of the treats from my mom.

I love the deep autumnal tones and how well they blend together.

And I also got my very first skein of Malabrigo Lace!

I only got one because I can’t take knitting a project any bigger than 50g in laceweight!
