I was flipping back through my design notebook recently, and I realized that I’ve got quite a few new designs finished (or almost finished) that I haven’t released yet! I think I counted seven, including Cathedrals. I really need to get them published, so I think what I’ll do is select a starting date and publish a new design every so often until I’ve gotten them all out there. Perhaps start the first week of August? and maybe my deadline could be end of the year? And of course I’ll blog about them as I go, maybe with some fun behind-the-scenes stuff I wouldn’t post anywhere else. Hmm, I’m liking the sound of this. A deadline and some motivation are just what I needed, methinks.
Okay, now I need to make a list of the designs… I’d better refer to my Ravelry projects and my design notebook for this!
- Spring Rain Shawl
- Leaflet Hat >> released!
- Leafing Cowl
- Droopy Hat
- Eloise Doll Gloves
- Wanderer
- Cardigan in Malabrigo Mecha (to be named)
- Cathedrals >> released!
So there are eight, wow. If I started the first week of August and released one design every two weeks, I’d finish mid-November. Of course, I’m sure there will be delays and stuff, especially since a couple of the designs on that list aren’t finished yet (Cathedrals and the Mecha cardigan). So that extra month-and-a-half should give me plenty of padding.
This is going to be good — finish all of this by the end of the year and start 2016 with a clean slate! :)
