When I placed my first ever order with Jimmy Beans Wool, yarn wasn’t the only thing I got! While I love Knit Picks’ needles, I’ve been wanting to try those newfangled cube-shaped needles ever since I first saw them. So I got a pair of Knitter’s Pride Cubics interchangeable tips in their nickel line, Nova. I got my most-used size, US6/4.0mm. And I got a 16″ cable. The tips are longer than I anticipated, so the cable itself is shorter. I’m not sure how I’ll like it, but we’ll see. I’m really eager to knit with them, and I’ll be sure to write when I do!

Since most of the photos I post are of yarn, I rarely get to indulge in black-and-white photo processing. So for these, I thought it’d be a fun change. :)
