I’m really excited about my progress on my Gridelin. As some of you have been seeing on Instagram, I’m moving right along! I’m probably about 70% finished, and the rows are getting super long! When I finished the first skein, I was already at almost 170 sts, and that was a handful of repeats ago. Not sure what the stitch count is now. It feels like it’s growing in slow motion though, and I’m ready to be done with it. To be honest, I was wondering if I would make it to the end of the second skein because the 4-row chart started getting boring after ten or so repeats. But I wanted to knit it with two full skeins and not give up, so I just camped out in front of my computer with Netflix going during my downtime and knitted away. I blew through the first season of Fixer Upper and then started on Property Brothers — those are my two favorite HGTV shows right now. They’re WONDERFUL knitting shows! ;)
In fact, I think I’ll work on an episode — I mean, a repeat — now so I can finish Gridelin and start on my Oak Trail hat. I’ll write again soon.
