A Home for my Hexipuffs

July 25, 2013

At one point I mentioned having a basket to keep my hexipuffs in. I don’t remember where I mentioned it — here, twitter, Instagram, or Ravelry! Anyway, I bought a cute basket at Michaels when they had a sale and asked Jenn (my seamstress sister and partner in crime at Annie Yarn) to sew me a liner. I flipped through my fabric stash and decided on something that went really well with the color of the basket and also fits the color scheme in my room. Here’s how it turned out.

Oh, and I recently got an adorable side table that sits next to my wingback, and my hexipuff basket tucks right up underneath. I’ll have to share a photo sometime as a little peek into where I do most of my knitwear designing. ^.^

It’s so fun tossing finished hexipuffs into the basket! :D

I need to go ahead and just start more hexipuffs. I want to make a cushion for a seat in my room, so I wouldn’t even need that many!

Ooh, that sounds like fun! I’ve been thinking about putting them together as a fun headboard above my bed until I’ve made enough for a quilt.
