Saw this on Instagram, posted by @plansbyrochelle and thought it might be a bit fun, so I started to create a mental list and realized that I really should share it! I technically started this list in my head over a week ago, which means I’ve already gotten at least a couple done.
The main reason I really liked this idea is because it helps the year go out with a bang (hopefully) instead of letting the last weeks of the year slip by and then trying to start new things in the New Year. I want to get a jump on this stuff NOW and just keep right on running into 2019. Make sense?
So here’s my 19 before 2019 things-to-do.. hoping sharing it will create a sense of urgency so I’ll get it all done. But you know, if I don’t get every single thing — ALL THE THINGS!! — done, but maybe most of them, well, at least I got those done. Which is still a feat considering some of the stuff I have on here. Okay, I’m rambling. Here’s the list…
release a new design— done! Travelog is live!
- finish one of the three cardigans I have OTN!!!
photograph and upload my latest stash enhancement to Ravelry— done!
- start my podcast
- finish a design
- pay off a credit card
get a haircut— done!
- start working out again
- find my word for 2019
- start blogging weekly
- stay off sweets except for a couple cheat days (like Christmas)
find a new knitting podcast to watch— done! Listening to Voolenvine! :D make my boy a scarf— done! (photos coming soon!)
- finish playing through Ori and the Blind Forest
- DON’T BUY ANY MORE YARN!!!
- knit my Ugly Christmas Sweater Socks from my Hey Sister Yarn Co. kit!
- get my external hard drives configured so I can empty photos from my computer
finish the quote tattoo I started last year— done!! (pics coming once it heals)
- block at least 1 FO that hasn’t been blocked yet
So yay, I actually came up with 19 things!! lol. I was wondering if I would be able to. As excited as I am about it, now that I’ve come up with the list, I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed. I guess I’d better get to knitting since a lot of those things are knitting-related. @[email protected]
