Ravellenic Games 2014

May 3, 2014

I am so pleased with myself for finally participating in the Ravellenic Games. I’d heard about it before, but I didn’t understand it and didn’t have time to try. This year, though, I decided I needed a push to get some projects finished and out of my hair. A little early spring cleaning, really. And it was totally worth it! I finished some projects, frogged some that had been haunting me for years, and felt de-cluttered by doing it.

It was also fun because I was on Team Yarnbox, so the chat thread was great. And not only did I win a prize, I donated a couple skeins of Annie Yarn to the prize pool and got to send them out to random winners.

Anyway, I thought it might be kinda fun to show off my “medals” so here they are. And at the bottom is the prize I won. :)

  • Looking into YouTube planning options to help me structure my podcast a bit more and keep myself on track. If you have any input, please please comment or message me!! I’m also trying to see if a bullet journal layout might also work for me. HELPPPPP!!!! 😭😭😭
  • Day 15 of #fortheloveoffiberfebruary is FAVE FO and I just had to pull out this photo of me enjoying my Foraging cardigan because it’s definitely the FO I reach for the most except for my Honey Cowl. 🙃 (yay for being caught up again.. I’ll try not to lag so much any more, but I’ve just been so out of it from dealing with a lot of stress and anxiety lately..)
  • Day 14 of #fortheloveoffiberfebruary is LOVE and I chose this photo of me and my boy from last year when we traveled to Omaha for his friend’s wedding. We was best man, and I just tried to look nice next to him lol! But it was a blast!
Yesterday for Valentine’s Day we cooked at home (he makes a mean steak omg) and sipped wine and watched GOT. Oh, and like the gamer girl that I am, I preordered Anthem. Super chill day. 😎
  • Day 13 of#fortheloveoffiberfebruary is TRY SOMETHING NEW and I am going to try my own spin of the bullet journal. I have had so much going on in my head lately that I really need a place to kind of braindump, and I figured I might as well give this a try to help reduce mental clutter. We shall see!
  • Day 12 of #fortheloveoffiberfebruary is LISTENING TO and I have been seriously enjoying @jojilocat’s journals!! She has such a beautiful way of communicating both in knitting and in words. Her designs are so inspiring!
